The famous Billy Sparkle Pants is back in work and behaving like a spooky youngster but Jenna still finds time for judging, clinics, diving and visiting the Black Saturday tree
Nat Blundell fills us in on exactly what happened for her and Sam at Badminton, is checking out the local scenery and preparing for Luhmuhlen. Go Nat!
Our blogger from Normandy, Sarah Jane Venning has been quiet during winter but Badminton and the coming Alltech World Equestrian Games, only one hour away, has spurred her on
Makayla Wood has written possibly our longest blog yet - but well worth a read to catch up with her breakdowns/car mishaps/tyre blowing sagas, new puppy near death experiences, eventing in NSW results and 3 months worth of stories about being away from home
I'm into my second month of working at Wilky Park, run by Will Enzinger and Emily Anker and what an experience it has been so far! Such a learning curve!
April consisted of the three C's at Tinney Eventing - coaching, competition and clinics
I had hoped that our final blog would have been written in haze of excitement and glory, but unfortunately it was not our year.............
It's usually the rider's nose that gets broken but in Lil Wischer's case, it was her 1* horse Drum who suffered the injury that has put them out of competition for a while. But at least the other horses are going well (including a winner at Sydney 3*!)
Chris Burton's groom Rachel Watts and her 4-legged charge TS Jamaimo are headed to Badminton, a great place not only for the competition but also for Pimm's, stalking top riders and catching up with old friends
Sister bloggers Abigail Brocks and Kate Smith have settled in to Badminton Grassroots after much preparation of Noddy (the truck, not the horse) and plenty of picnics. Dressage is done and the score is good!
