Belvoir Pony Club hosted the Area 7 Eventing Competition at Buckminster, with combinations and teams fighting for qualification to the prestigious Pony Club National Championships.

Host-Club Belvoir was well represented at the prize giving, crowning its homegrown talent in both the top section, the PC110, the Chairman’s Cup, and the introductory level, the PC 70+.

PC110 winner, Lizzie Westropp-Law admitted, “Being from the host branch and that I am probably one of the oldest branch members, at 22, made it a pretty special win for us”, adding, “And Buckminster is one of my favourite, and most local, events.”

Watch Bella Tschaikowsky and Tasty Andy win the UA90 Section M at Barbury (2) Grassroots & Cotswold Cup eventing qualifier in July 2024.

Bella says, “I purchased Andy nearly three years ago as a very green and extra sensitive six-year-old Connemara but, due to his untrusting nature, it is only just in the last few months I feel that we can actually capitalise on his talent!” You certainly wouldn't know that from this great ride!

Boyd Martin Interview – Towards Paris 2024

The US Eventing team for Paris 2024 had their final mandatory run at Stable View’s Summer Horse Trials in June where Samantha Clark caught up with Boyd Martin to find out more about the preparations for his horses, Fedarman B and Commando 3, listed on the US squad as Boyd’s main and reserve horses, and what else he is looking forward to at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
