An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country at the Scottish Grassroots Championships at Defender Blair Castle International Horse Trials 2023 from 24th - 27th August.
Piggy March on Brookfield Inocent at Hartpury International Horse Trials 2023
Piggy March and Brookfield Inocent won the CCI4*-S eventing class at the 2023 Hartpury International Horse Trials and now head to Burghley Horse Trials at the end of August.
The defending champion, Piggy won Burghley 2022 on Vanir Kamira after they too won the CCI4*-S at Hartpury as part of their preparation for the big CCI5* event. Can she replicate the two wins again in 2023?
British Olympic eventing rider Kitty King enjoyed a dream career as a Junior and Young Rider before going on to compete at Senior Championship level. Most recently Kitty took team gold and individual silver at the 2023 FEI European Eventing Championships at Le Haras du Pin, France riding Vendredi Biats.
In 2022, Ruth Gregory visited Kitty at her yard to find out more about her career, her horses and support team.
The 2023 European Eventing Championship show jumping course time was tight enough and, because of the lack of space and several related distances, it was hard to find anywhere to save valuable seconds.
But the four British riders produced good rides in front of the enthusiastic crowd at Le Haras du Pin in Normandy, France to take their 24th team title in the 70-year history of this Championship.
