Sam Griffiths and Paulank Brockagh
An Eventful Life filmed all riders on cross country at the South of England (2) - find out more here
Australian Olympian Sam Griffiths is back in the saddle after several months off due a serious neck injury and straight onto the winner’s podium
Today Sam and his Badminton winning mare Paulank Brockagh won the Open Intermediate at the South of England International, easing back into competition but leading from the start with a score of 24.80 in the dressage and adding just 6.4 time faults on cross country
While Sam has been out of action his friend Shane Rose has been successfully competing several of the Team Griffiths’ horses but the special ‘Brocks’, who also finished fourth at the Rio Olympic Games, has been waiting patiently in the stable for Sam to be ready to compete and will now hopefully head to the CCI4* at Les Etoiles de Pau
