It was a warm weekend for Northallerton (1) with even the ice lollies running out but some wet weather since the April BE event has been perfect for the preparation of the ground at this North Yorkshire venue

The course at Northallerton is set in gently undulating farmland and runs over mature pasture and through woodland. The course includes a mixture of permanent and portable fences including water and is suitable for first time combinations. A new water complex was added in 2017 as the organisers constantly try to improve this well-established course.
The cross country course, designed by Judith Shipton-Ellis and built by Paul Ellis, will run in a different direction to the Spring event, providing some new challenges but let’s take a look back at last year’s course
