A broken down lorry and possible broken ribs have not been the best preparation for Louise Harwood leading up to Badminton but she is still battling on
The diminutive Louise Harwood pushed Whitson on during the Advanced Intermediate cross country at Kelsall Hill on Saturday but 1.6 time penalties cost them the winner’s rug
On reflection however it was still a pretty good result considering that Louise had a few mishaps the day before and has just recovered from sore ribs (‘Were they broken? I didn’t want to find out!’) following a fall at Belton International Horse Trials
It hasn’t been the ideal preparation for Badminton but Louise is still looking forward to the big event – she just has to get the lorry fixed first to get them there ...........
