Entries closing for Blair Castle

There are only a few hours left before the closing time for entries to Blair Castle Equi-Trek International Horse Trials 2016 .

Work on the cross country course is continuing to ensure perfect going over the four days of the event, which runs from the 25th to the 28th of August. The Scottish weather and work of the estate team have left the ground in top class condition.

Alec Lochore’s course has retained the most thrilling elements of 2015’s European Championship, giving all riders, whatever the level, the chance to experience part of that championship track. With four classes ranging from CCI1* to CCI3* and CIC3*, plus an additional ERM CIC3* section there is no doubt that Blair will be an exhilarating four days of sport.

The courses have been reversed to run up through the castle gardens for the CCI2*, CCI3* and CIC3*, meaning that the steep climbs for which Blair is infamous have been softened. The CCI1* has also been altered to incorporate different parts of the estate. The beautiful surroundings of Highland Perthshire are amongst the most spectacular vistas in British Eventing.

Entries are open online at http://www.bdwp.co.uk/blr/ so get your entry in by 5pm on Monday the 15th August.
