The current Eventing World Number One, Britain’s Tom McEwen has become a father for the first time.
The double Olympic team gold medallist and individual silver medallist from Tokyo 2020 and his wife Harriet welcomed a baby boy weighing 8lbs 1oz on the 29th November 2024
“This little guy changing our lives together” said Tom on social media “Harri is doing really well and is already an incredible mamma”
The wonderful news tops off a very good year for Tom who not only won team gold at Paris 2024 but also had three podium finishes at CCI5* level, taking second place at Kentucky on JL Dublin, second place at Luhmuhlen on CHF Cooliser and third place at Les 5 Etoiles de Pau on Brookfield Quality, helping him finish the European season as the World Number One on the FEI Rankings.
Tom and Harriet married straight after Les 5 Etoiles de Pau in 2023, where Tom took third place before heading straight to his stag night, dressed as you’ve never seen him before!
