Hartpury Junior & Young Rider European Championships 2022
The definite entries for the FEI Eventing Junior and Young Rider Championships to be held at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire from 25th – 31st July have been announced
The 2021 Championships at Hartpury will take place over seven days for the disciplines of dressage and eventing with the eventing competitions starting on Wednesday 27th July with the First Horse Inspections.
Hartpury is no stranger to top-class dressage and eventing competitions, hosting the Hartpury International Festival of Dressage and Hartpury International Horse Trials each summer. For the eventing competition, Eric Winter will design the cross country course, making use of the natural terrain and features of the estate to challenge the very best 14-21-year-old riders in Europe
48 combinations from 12 countries will take part in the Eventing Young Rider Championship and 60 combinations in the Eventing Junior Championship. Last year’s winners in both team competitions, Germany, will be defending their crowns and Britain is fielding two strong teams on home soil

Young Riders
Alice Casburn, aged 20 years from Norwich in Norfolk, with the 14-year-old gelding, Topspin, owned by Caroline Casburn.
Molly Faulkner, aged 20 years from Edenbridge in Kent, with the 11-year-old gelding, Call me Cooley, owned by the rider.
Phoebe Hughes aged 19 years from Andover in Hampshire, with the 15-year-old gelding, Top Biats, owned by George Brooks.
Maja Hullah, aged 20 years from Winscombe in Somerset, with the 11-year-old gelding, Articus, owned by the rider.
Millie Juleff, aged 19 years from Bodmin in Cornwall, with the 11-year-old gelding, All We Need, owned by the rider and Darren Juleff.
Ibble Watson, aged 19 years from Broadway in Gloucestershire, with the 11-year-old gelding, Aristoteles S Z, owned by the rider.

Grace Donnor, aged 17 years from Buntingford in Hertfordshire, with the 15-year-old gelding, Cooley Ramiro, owned by Joanne Donnor.
Finn Healy, aged 18 years from Hope Valley in Derbyshire, with the 11-year-old mare, Fathers Compromise, owned by Michelle Pritchard.
