British Eventing have confirmed that they will pilot a BE90 Three Day Event format in 2021 and 2022.
Following member feedback, the new format will run with both BE90 and BE90 Open sections and will include a dressage test in a 60m x 20m arena as well as a steeplechase phase
Applications were invited at the beginning of the year from existing BE venues and three have been chosen to take part in the next stage of the application process;

British Eventing’s ongoing commitment to grassroots competitors will see the introduction of the BE80 Championships at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials from 2020 to complement the BE90 and BE100 Science Supplements Cup, which was to have taken place at Badminton Horse Trials this year as a replacement to the Mitsubishi Cup which has run for several years
