Location:        Kihikihi Domain, Te Awamutu, New Zealand

Held annually at Kihikihi (near Te Awamutu) in April, the Kihikihi International Horse Trials is one of New Zealand's premier equestrian events. In 2012 the Kihikihi International Horse Trial will also host the Senior Trans Tasman competition. The Senior TransTasman is a key stepping stone in the development of Australasian event riders for the international circuit, the World Equestrian Games and, of course, the Olympics. The Australians will be sending a team of 5 horses and riders to compete at Kihikihi and defend their title; the stakes for this competition are high and the competition will be intense.

Cambridge Harriers in association with the Kihikihi International Horse Trials also present the fourth annual Newstalk ZB Fools & Horses Fun Run being held in aid of New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Association (Kihikihi branch).

The Newstalk ZB Fools & Horses Fun Run is a new, exciting and totally unique challenge. It is a 4km run or walk over a world-class equestrian cross country course with participants having to negotiate logs, climb walls and splash through water obstacles! The 4km loop will start and finish in the main arena of one of New Zealand's premier equestrian events, the Kihikihi International Horse Trial.
