News for this month starts with Orchard Hill joining the ‘A’ Squad alongside Sarah Ingham’s Watermark Grayson. Vettori and Panamera remain on the Elite Squad. With the addition of John and Jane Pittard’s ‘Pluto Mio’ we have a full house of International horses looking good for the future!
This month Stuart went off to Quirindi with the girls and I had a weekend at home alone!! They all had a great event with a few placings, the one of note being Jaymee (again) winning the CIC* Junior (4th Open) and coming home with a handful of prizes and some pocket money! Stuart had his first ride on Pluto in the CIC** and took home 7th. Gosh 6th (a 6 year old NZ T/B) in the pre-novice with his first start. The following week we had mid week SIEC followed by weekend SIEC busy busy! With a few new additions to the Tinney Equine team it was flat out for Stuart mentally and physically! The results were very pleasing; Gosh came 5th in the pre-nov, My Thai (5 year old T/B) came 5th in the prelim, and Gemma (Mighty Midget) 6th Junior Intro A more recent purchase from one of our students Steph Bender, is Kinnordy Gymeon who had a 2nd in the pre-lim at SIEC and 12th in the Pre-Nov (weekend).. A super horse with enormous scope! Just a little green. Pluto Mio had his first 3 star start with Stuart at the weekend SIEC. Stuart really loves the ride and with a 4th in the dressage phase, kept his place all the way. It was a very competitive field and we were very happy with Pluto. We will now look towards the Sydney CCI*** in September and then Adelaide CCI****.
