Jaymee and King ready to showjump at Canberra (Stuart seems to be having some words with King)
Just as we head for the end of the season the events seem to come quick and fast! Now with Jaymee pestering to go to every 2 star there is in sight we hardly unpack the truck and refill the fridge and we are off again! Highlights of last month were the Gilbert Bockmann clinic which ran for four days, proudly and thankfully supported by EA Australia. Stuart took Pluto, Panamera and Orchard. All were fabulous under the watchful eye of Gilbert, all jumping good 1.30 rounds on the last day. Goulburn CIC was also a good event for us, with Pluto 3rd in the CIC*** , Panamera 7th and Orchard 11th. Jaymee flew round the CIC** with a 14th overall and the highest placed junior. Jaymee has also has been commended by Eventing NSW and won an award for the 3 best quality performances at 1 star, so well done JT!
Stuart and Panamera Canberra
Canberra CIC followed with Panamera placing 4th and Jaymee 6th in the CIC**, again the highest placed junior. Jaymee and Nidhi Dev’s ‘King’ have now qualified for the Deloitte Australian International Three Day Event CCI**. Meanwhile little Gemma is still riding on and off after her horse's injury, so hopefully next year she will be back! Also going back to pony club to perfect her barrel racing! However she is having fun with the camera and has taken many of the photos in this update Karen also became inspired and ran Orchard Hill round a few Elementary tests at a local dressage day. Ribbons came in both tests so this may inspire a few more comps in the future?
