Finally we are at an end to the season- not the best year here at Tinney Eventing. This sport can certainly lend itself to roller coaster ride.
First the injury to ours and Tim Games beautiful mare Panamera right before the Olympics, followed by her having an medical emergency where she remained critical for days. Then the terminal illness of Stuart's mum which we all dealt with here at home until her passing only three weeks ago ( RIP Gwen you are dearly missed), Jaymee having HSC exams, Karen having some minor but interfering health issues and then Adelaide where Stuart walked home on Pluto Mio after a glance off coming out of the water…. would you call this our ‘annus horribilis’? Close I would say.
More positively Panamera has made a full recovery, Jaymee got through HSC without a breakdown plus we hope to have our horses Sydney, Panamera and Pluto Mio compete at Adelaide 4 star next year with possibly Annapurna and War Hawk in the 2 star… (maybe we should renew that gym membership!!!!!)

We must also not forget that Pluto and Stuart are NSW State Champions, Gemma is the Junior NSW Champion and Jaymee remains on the Junior Elite Squad plus Stuart is also ranked 5th in the HSBC World Challenge. So we're looking towards a better and more exciting 2013 in the lead up to the 2014 World Equestrian Games in France
The beautiful trophies won by Pluto Mio and Stuart at the NSW State Championships last month at Lynton NSW.
2000-2012 saw the NSWIS support us with squad training which ceases in 2013. We are very sad that this program has terminated. Thanks for your support over the years and its program coordinators.
All things aside we are all re-grouping and Stuart heads to South America with Jaymee after her very admired devotion to the HSC ( giving up riding and boyfriend for the most part of 2012!) A holiday for both Stuart and Jaymee which is well deserved and will take the place of ‘schoolies’
As 2012 draws to a close we have seen good times with the bad. We have had some great clinics with some great riders and people, which we will continue into 2013. We have a super new horse War Hawk thanks to the Huskinson family. We had a great Equitana with CopRice (thank you) plus continued support from our other long standing sponsors Horseland, Bates and Nature Vet/CEVA. Looking ahead to 2013 we take on HIDEZ not only as ambassador but retailing HIDEZ to the equestrian enthusiast –looking after their equine athlete during travel, pre and post strenuous exercise.
There is also a new project for Tinney Eventing Marketing; a fabulous new training facility in Glossodia called ‘EVANS PARK’ which will offer in 2013 a cross country training facility, indoor and outdoor rings for hire plus self managed stables and paddocks – see www.evansparkequestrian.com for more info.
We also want to thank Tim Game for your amazing support with Panamera in every aspect and John and Jane Pittard for their belief in us with Pluto and Anna.
