Stuart with the three Shadow Team horses; Orchard Hill, Pluto Mio and Panamera

  For those who follow ours news, we apologise for not writing one in January... however it is the holiday season and most of us need to take that time to re-charge. February is here way too fast and our three Shadow Team horses have been in work for a few weeks now.  

Stuart and Pluto, now on the A List after winning at Lakes & Craters

  Panamera (owner Tim Game) stays on the Elite list and Orchard Hill on the ‘A’ Squad. We’re a little disappointed that John and Jane Pittard’s ‘Pluto Mio’ did not make the Elite squad but happy that he has been recognized for his win on a 44 ( an international score ) at Lakes and Craters CCI***.   With three horses listed Stuart will certainly have his work cut out for him (and all on the yard)

In mid-January Stuart and I attended the Coonabarabran Eventing Clinic; 3 days of solid teaching. We do enjoy attending. We work hard, have great students and other coaches plus are looked after really well.     Still in January we took ourselves off for a family holiday. First time in Indonesia.. BALI ! Getting away from the property is always well received and time to chill... however I am not sure Bali is the place to chill!! With all getting a dose of Bali Belly (Stuart the worst... 5 days of it!) we were glad to see home! What is it with the rain in NSW!? Our poor horses suffering with so much wet... one product we can recommend is NatureVet’s ‘outback’ herbal shampoo and itch relief range. Available on line, (Nature Vet Direct) we have used it on all the horses with skin irritations from the wet. Also can’t not mention the wonderful product ECOMIST... when the flies come (apparently) they appear to not come our way... We keep raving about this product but I am still amazed how well it works... Simply love it!  

Stuart and Pluto made the front cover of February Horse Magazine

  February started with a super article about Pluto, both horse and rider made it to the front cover... such a great picture of them both. Can’t tell you how pleased we all were with the article (thanks HorseMagazine – available at all Horseland stores and newsagents).  Also we had the pleasure of Horseland here showing us all their new clothing and horse apparel for 2012. The HV polo range is great (even I looked okay in their jackets!) and Stuart and kids looked super as always.

  4. 25th-27th WAYER Clinic WA ( Stuart)
  5. 25th/26th SIEC weekend Mighty Midget ( Gemma)
  6. 1st March Interschool at SIEC, Mighty Midget ( Gemma)
  7. 3rd March Olivia Bunn’s wedding!
