Tinney Eventing June Update

Stuart and Viennese at the Zeep Melbourne 3DE

We are going to work backwards with our news with Werribee, Sydney, plus Quirindi. After an exhausting few weeks in the lead up to The Zeep Melbourne 3DE, we did OK!

Gemma took out fourth place in the CCI4*-L on our handsome Diabolo (Dab) and Stuart second in the CCI2*-L on the very attractive Viennese (Vinny)

We also had our Be My Daisy in the CCI4*-S with her new jockey Shane Rose, finishing in second place and we are so pleased with this partnership. Shane has taken over the ride very successfully while Stuart concentrates on Course Design for 2022. Both Dab and Daisy are now qualified for the World Championships 2022 in Pratoni (Rome) from September 15th - 18th. Congratulations to both riders

Just stepping a few weeks back, we had a few badly timed injuries, plus Stuart away overseas and getting our property ready for sale so organising horses, houses, rides, staff was somewhat hectic! However we managed ….. 'team work' to its max!

We all loved being back at Werribee, can’t imagine why we missed the cold, wet and gusty wind but we DID! smiley

Loved seeing all our eventing mates out again in full swing, it’s been a long awful few years for everyone- Eventing holistically embraces us, and we came to Victoria smiling

It was a fabulous show of horses, full entries, great combinations in all classes, plus well run and lots of entertainment:)

A month before we had The Ariat Sydney 3 Day Event where Stuart was course designer for the CCI4*-L so was unable to compete, plus being on the committee it becomes a frenzied event for us Tinneys!

Coming Up for The Tinneys

With the two major International 3DE's in Australia now over, we can take some time to rebuild our team of horses. We have one wonderful addition in Vinnie, however we are on the hunt for a few more young horses.

Stuart is travelling overseas to work as Assistant Course Designer (Aachen being his first) back home to compete, then back again to the UK. Stuart's work abroad will bring wealth and knowledge back to the Aussie shores, which hopefully all eventers will benefit from

We always like to thank our very loyal sponsors CopRice feeds, Bates Saddles, Horseland and Ceva Equine, alongside Proteq, Ecomist and Hidez with their fabulous inhouse products. All, complement our program adding to our success, we are most grateful to you all.
