Leporis now has an exciting new home in the UK
Sydney -Tokyo-UK-Sydney
This week, finally we have some news worth sharing!
We have confirmation of two events, Wallaby Hill and Equestriad and we also have a date of return for Stuart from UK. Plus we would like to announce we have SOLD our beautiful Tokyo horse Leporis (Leo) to a fabulous young rider in the UK.
Be My Daisy at Wallaby Hill
Eventing in December plus brand-new home for Leporis
There is no doubt we have missed almost a whole season of Australian Eventing due to COVID-19 with only four events that we have competed at this year! But we have two more coming up next month and we can’t thank Wallaby Hill (3/4/5th December) and Equestriad (18/19th December) for finishing the year with their events. Next year is looking more promising! The thought that we are one year older is not so great!!!
Stuart is now packing to come home on 7th November after a long few months. After our ill-fated Tokyo Olympic Games we made the decision that Stuart would base himself in the UK for a little while, possibly do some events with the intent of selling Leo.
We are delighted that 'Leo' has found a tremendous 5* home in the UK with a young rider and are thrilled that 'Leo' will have the chance to shine on the European circuit. It is a wonderful result for such an exciting young talented horse, and rider.
So now it’s time to regroup! It has been a taxing time mentally for everyone! What excites The Tinneys now???
Time to get back on board Celebration
Number One is Stuart’s return (there are so many jobs here after three months away!! We have missed him however Gemma's plumbing skills are getting much better!)
Number Two - To ride another favorite, Elisabeth Brinton's Celebration (Charlie) - that has to be up there in 'excitement!!!' We will not take Charlie out this year, as Stuart will not have had the time to prepare him, plus being Course Designer for Wallaby Hill means that he is unfortunately not allowed to also ride there.
Gemma has been an active member here, riding the team left at home. She is planning for Tim Games’ Diabolo, the Blair/Wheller's Sir Pepper plus our own Be My Daisy to go to both events, under the guidance of Stuart. Dalenna Daydream will take to some showjumping and return to Eventing with Stuart in 2022.
Number Three - Holidays in the sun, now we can travel it has to be a must for us all!
A shout out to our first-class sponsors, who have held us upright, especially during COVID. THANK-YOU. CopRice, Bates saddles, Horseland and CEVA Equine.
Gemma and Diabolo ready to return
