So, what’s new recently? Well, for 2016 we are excited to launch our 'new look' web site with a new approach this year. We are opening our yard at Tinney Eventing for a new mentoring program that offers agistment, schooling, lessons and mentoring at competitions which will be available to a small, select number of riders. We are going to concentrate on Interschool students that are looking for expert care and coaching with their horse(s) so please contact us for rates, an application form and general information.
In March we were also pleased to have Marcus Oldham College students visit for our annual demonstration; it’s always a good time to promote our sponsors and their benefits.
However it wasn’t all happy news in March 2016
RIP Olivia
March 2016 was a very sad, memorable month for us here at TE. We are all still mourning the loss of Olivia Inglis, who passed away at Scone Horse Trials after a tragic cross country fall with her horse Coriolanus. Olivia was a very accomplished horse rider, part of the Inglis family that is at the forefront of equestrian and racing
Olivia, along with her beautiful sisters Antoinette and Alexandra, was practically born on a horse as her mother Charlotte is an amazing horse woman. This catastrophe of Olivia fatally falling brought our industry to a grinding halt, as well as us personally. Only four weeks have passed but it seems like an eternity and we send our deepest sympathy again to the Inglis family.
To deepen the tragedy 'Coriolanus' was put down a few days after the accident.
A scholarship for young emerging eventing riders has been set up in her memory. You can find more information here
May Olivia RIP and look over us with her precious smile forever.
Never will we forget you Olivia xxx

The Sydney Summer Classic Mid Week and Weekend competitions saw our team out in force. It is always a big week with horses, course design and lessons! All the ponies went well over the week with the best performed being Annapurna and Gemma winning the 2* and Queen Mary 3rd in the 3* but unfortunately Carlchen, who was in the lead in the 3*, stood on a toe clip and had to be withdrawn. He recovered well after some TLC from Brett Hudson (thank you) and was ready for Albury, running in the 2* as he had had some time off.

The Royal Easter Show was our next major event with Gemma riding in the Young Riders. It was a privilege to see such great young talent and of course it helped that Gemma finished 6th in the last round Grand Prix on Tim Games’ Panamera – we were so proud of her even though the stable area was a bit messy when her sister Jaymee came to watch !

With Sydney 3DE, a selection event for Rio 2016, looming at the end of the month we have four horses going to SIEC in Pluto Mio, War Hawk, Carlchen and Queen Mary. War Hawk will do the CCI3* and the others the CIC3*.

As a lead up event the weekend at Albury went very well with Pluto coming 2nd in the CIC3* and Carl 2nd in the CIC2*. All horses performed well and War Hawk hada nice run, ready for Sydney with his dressage improving daily. Gemma had a sweet run on the Inglis family’s horse Branigans Sub Zero to run 9th in the Ev105 – he’s a lovely horse with a great attitude to competition.
Branigans Sub Zero (Frosty) is for sale. Please contact us for more information.
