2015 has been more like a roller coaster ride than a smooth sail. Reflecting on the equestrian season plus day to day living we got through a lot in twelve months with Stuart recovering from his broken back, Gemma into intensive care after routine tonsillectomy plus completing her HSC. Now we can all confidently shout out "Thank goodness this year is behind us!'
ONWARDS and UPWARDS!
Some of you have travelled with us in spirit, some in person which we thank you for. It makes the bad days better and the good days great! Staying positive in this sport is often a challenge, staying safe is another. Your support is never taken for granted, only cherished.
A very special thank you to our wonderful sponsors, CopRice, Bates, Horseland and Ceva, also to the support from Proteq and Ecomist and of course our wonderful owners John and Jane Pittard, Darren and Corinna Huskinson, Pete O'Connell and Kathy Ward plus Tim Game.
Stuart and Gemma finished the season with Wallaby Hill with a win and second place in the CIC*** (War Hawk the winner and Carl in second) while our new import Frenchy was third in the EvA95 and Gemma was fourth on My Thai in the CIC**. Stuart also rode Rachael Lee's Tex for a win in the EvA105 and fifth in the CIC* on Cobra plus a fall and an elimination – that’s Eventing!
We will now have a well earned break with Stuart and Gemma taking 'schoolies' in North America.
2016 will be hectic with RIO 2016 - we will give it our best shot to represent Australia and make you all proud!
Merry Christmas to all, have a great summer holiday and see you all in 2016,
Cheers
Tinney Eventing
