How do we build our horse power?

Not sure where to start this month with the Games of 2012 over and a fairly disappointing result for the Eventing section. A positive is that sixth in the team’s means we have qualified for the Worlds in 2014 in France. A question we have to ask is how do we gather the strength of the other countries in horse power? We certainly have the riders and what a shame that our Aussie based horses all limped at such a crucial time. Overall it should be recognised that we look at building our horse power with our Elite riders and then a program that will bring us a medal at the next Games.

Back to reality here in sunny Maraylya! ‘Panamera’ is now looking very good .We will rest her and make some decisions on what’s on in 2013 that may suit her. ‘Pluto’ is being prepared for the HSBC Australian Championships Nov 2012 24th/25th NOV (Adelaide) so too is ‘Orchard Hill.’

We have our 2 star horse ‘Sydney’ who will tick along in 2/3 star this year.

The AWA show jumping and dressage day was a good outing 11th August- with very strong winds the horses were particularly good! John and Jane Pittards Annapurna winning her dressage test (above) and then coming fourth in the 1.10m

Also Kinnordy Gymeon (below) second and third in his tests. Gosh second in the 1.10m.

Pluto and Sydney also jumped in the 1.20 to have a rail in each.

We are keeping busy with some cross country clinics we are running. At this stage we will be at:
