In 2032 the eyes of the world will be on Brisbane as host city of the 2032 Olympic Games. The cross country course at Brisbane 2032 will run through Victoria Park/Barrambin, just 20 minutes away from the Fig Tree Pocket Equestrian Club where we are filming all riders on cross country this weekend.
Fig Tree Pocket Equestrian is holding its CCN National Eventing competition this weekend with classes from EvQ65 to CCN3*. Dressage and showjumping runs on Saturday 11th May for most classes (except the EvQ65 and EvA80 riders who showjump on Sunday) with all combinations heading out on the Ewan Kellett designed course on Sunday.
The riders in the Westvets CCN3* will have to be up at the crack of dawn with their dressage underway at 7:30am (it gets dark early in Queensland!) on Saturday. Some rain is forecast but hopefully drying out a bit for cross country day and it is of course beautifully warm rain up here!
