Andrew Cooper top Australian rider on FEI Rankings

Andrew Cooper is finishing the year as the top ranked Australian rider on the FEI Eventing World Rankings, almost breaking into the top 20

Ranked 21st in the world with 314 points, Andrew was beaten into a top 20 placing by the individual European gold medallist Ingrid Klimke in 20th place on 320 points

25 year old Australian-based Andrew has had another strong year on the Australian circuit with a good team of horses. He topped it off with fourth place in the CCI4* on Tasman Park Ovation and third in the CIC3* on Lagoes Choice at the Australian International 3 Day Event, where he also recieved the Anna Savage Memorial Award for 'Best and Fairest' Australian rider

Sonja Johnson jumped a massive 104 places thanks to her good performances in Adelaide and Capel in November to finish in 23rd place (293 points), just ahead of Stuart Tinney in 24th place (291 points)

Shane Rose in 31st place (283 points) and Megan Jones in 38th place (255 points)  round out the top five Australian riders in the most recent rankings
